The Harrow

The Harrow is a charming grade II listed building in picturesque village of Ulcombe, near Maidstone and Ashford. Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside, it is just a short distance from Headcorn, Kingswood, Lenham, Harrietsham and Crafty Green. It is also a short distance from the historic and beautiful Leeds Castle.

The Harrow is a great gastro pub with a relaxed yet exclusive style offering a modern twist. Their objective is simply to provide a great dining and drinking experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have a unique menu using their own garden produce, local ingredients and most importantly their imagination.

The new licensee, Errol Defoe, has re-opened this pub and restaurant under the name Smoke and Cured. The Harrow has been pleasantly redecorated and has received good reviews for the reasonably priced food, which includes both fish and vegetarian options. The beer is supplied from the nearby Whitstable brewery.
