Q. What is serviced office space?
A. A serviced office is an office or office building that is fully equipped and managed by a facility management company, which then rents individual offices or floors to other companies.
Q.How is your business centre different from others?
A. At Kingfisher House our clients are at the core of everything we do. We strive to create a community, and by offering different events, we encourage our clients to work cohesively. This helps people to network and find new business opportunities.
Q. Why choose serviced over managed office space?
A. With serviced offices you get a fully inclusive service, freeing up your time to let you focus on your business.
Q. What is a licence agreement?
A. A licence agreement is an easy-to-understand document that does not require a solicitor. It sets out the terms of your occupation of the space and what is included. Licence agreements in the main offer flexible terms; the minimum term may vary between office space providers, but it is usually between 6-12 months.
Q. What is a workstation?
A. A ‘workstation’ is the amount of space allocated to one person. This varies from one serviced office provider to another. Workstation space may fluctuate, but generally the space for one workstation is approximately 75 square feet or 7 square metres. A single workstation usually includes a desk, chair, and telephone; workstations can often be arranged and set up to meet your needs and preferences, so you can have the best possible set-up to meet your requirements. Sometimes it is possible to take space on square footage rather than a workstation basis.
Q. Do you have IT support?
A. We have on-site support – the team are trained to handle various IT issues. However, if the team cannot solve the problem we have two additional teams who work remotely and are quick to respond.

Q. What is the difference between a registered address and mail handling service?
A. Our registered address service is a licence which allows your company the use of our address to legally resister your company with Companies House. If you want to use our address for correspondence – post, parcels, etc. – you would need to opt for our mail handling address.
Q. Do I require any paperwork for my service?
A. You will need to complete a service agreement for your licence. As you would be taking a virtual service we would require a form of business identification – e.g. Certificate of Incorporation, Confirmation of Public Ltd Company listing on a regulated market, confirmation of business regulation by a third party organisation such as SRA, FSA, council, etc. We would also require personal identification – either a driver’s licence or passport.
