ARE YOU OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?

Balfour Hush Heath Estate and our Cellar Door is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm.

Please note that we are CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. We will be open as usual, on all other days over the Christmas period.

DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN ON THE TOURS?

Due to Health & Safety Risks children under 10 cannot go inside the winery. Only visitors over 18 will be able to taste the wines/ciders available. We operate Challenge 25 when tasting and selling alcohol and proof of age may be required (passport/driving license/ PASS ID card ).

DO YOU ALLOW DOGS?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to walk around the Estate (except guide dogs). However, well-behaved dogs are welcome on our downstairs terrace on a lead.

WILL THE TOURS STILL GO AHEAD IN THE RAIN?

The tour will go ahead in all weather conditions. Please ensure you bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear to walk around the estate.

WHEN DO YOUR TOURS RUN?

Our ‘Estate Tour & Tasting’ runs 7 days a week. Mon-Wed 11am. Thurs-Sun 10.30am and at 2pm.

Our ‘Balfour Wine & Dining Experience’ runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the duration of 11am until 4pm.

Our ‘ Private Balfour Wine & Dining Experience’ runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the duration of 11am until 4pm.

Our ‘Private Group Full Estate Tour & Tasting’ runs all year round

Self-guided tours do not need to be booked. Explore at your own pace all year round from 11am-5pm (subject to spraying, please telephone 01622 832794 to check).

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR FOR A TOUR?

Please ensure you bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear to walk around the estate.

ON A BOOKABLE TOUR, HOW MANY WINES DO YOU TASTE?

You will have a tasting of 6 of our Balfour wines and Jake’s cider/beer.

CAN I COME AND WALK AROUND WITHOUT BOOKING?

Self-guided tours can be taken every day between 10am and 5pm without booking (subject to spraying, please telephone 01622 832794 to check).

DO YOU OFFER FREE DELIVERY?

We offer free delivery on all orders to mainland UK.

WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR WINES?

You can order online from www.hushheath.com. You can purchase directly through our Cellar Door shop and some of our wines are available through selected retailers.

CAN I BE PICKED UP FROM A LOCAL STATION?

We offer a shuttle bus service for private groups. This service must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. Please call us to arrange this.

Should you be visiting the winery and joining a public tour please feel free to register your interest in our minibus share facility. Please note that for the mini bus to run we would require a minimum of 10 people. To register your interest please contact us on info@hushheath.com

We do not have a restaurant, however, we offer delicious sharing platters, created with the best local produce.

These are available Thursday – Sunday from 12-3pm (no booking required).

Yes, we can organise private tours for groups of more than ten. More information on this can be found here.

ARE YOU OPEN IN THE WINTER?

Yes, Balfour Hush Heath Estate and our Cellar Door are open every day from 10am to 5pm from 1st October until 31st April.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?

Our tasting room, Cellar Door and toilets have good disabled access. Our upstairs mezzanine level is only accessible by stairs.

WHAT ARE YOUR NEAREST TRAIN STATIONS?

Trains run from London Bridge to Marden (the nearest train station) and Staplehurst approx. every half an hour. Please check www.thetrainline.com for train times and a live timetable.

DO YOU HOLD WEDDINGS?

Unfortunately, we are not able to hold weddings at Balfour Hush Heath Estate.

DO YOU HAVE AMPLE PARKING?

We promote sustainable travel to the Estate, but if you do choose to drive we have ample car parking, which is free. Balfour Hush Heath Estate cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to vehicles by other visitors whilst using our car park. We also have an electric charging point for electric cars.
