Brands Hatch is a great place to visit, especially for Aston Martin’s Centenary celebrations.
Stunning weather and great turnout of people to come and share in the event. There were hundreds of wonderful Astons on show from all eras along with great racing, modern and historic.
An early pitwalk gave a great insight into the complexities of modern racing machinery and later we should see these Astons at full bore, each with its own symphony of mechanical notes.
It was great to see Bruno Senna gathering a crowd as he signed autographs. Later on, he would be driving the marvellous Aston Martin Vantage GT3 12 cylinder, so quick and it sounded just like a Spitfire.
Our day was enhanced by being hosted in the wonderful hospitality suite of Straight Talking Events, situated right on the start finish line and opposite the podium. You couldn’t find a better place to watch the action.
From the start, Kirstin and her team made us most welcome with a breakfast roll, coffee and pastries and later introduced us to the complimentary bar which was most welcome on this very hot day.
The quality of the catering throughout was excellent as was the champagne tea with sandwiches and cake, a great way to round off a special day. I’ll make this my first stop next time I’m at Brands and would highly recommend to anyone.
Thanks for reading.
